Telstra connectivity issues Wednesday 27th April 2022 11:38:00


We have observed issues with Telstra customers connecting to email services hosted by Conetix. This will result in errors within your email client (eg, Outlook) stating that the connection timed out or that it could not connect. Email may intermittently work, meaning after a number of retries it may receive email or may time out again.

As the issue is within Telstra's network, unfortunately we have no ETA on when a fix will be available. You could also try accessing your webmail (https://webmail.) so that you still have email access, however some customers have also noted issues accessing web services hosted with Conetix.

Alternatively, if you have a connection via a different ISP (eg, tethering to your phone) you may wish to use an alternative connection until Telstra resolve the fault.

No other ISP's are affected.

Telstra appears to have resolved the issue, with all email operating again as normal. If you're still experiencing issues, please try restarting your modem to see if this corrects the issue.

Clients are still reporting issues with email through Telstra so unfortunately no resolution yet.
