Support Phone System Unscheduled Outage

This notice is to inform you of a unscheduled outage, which will cause some disruption to your service with Conetix.

Scope of Issue

Conetix is aware of a network disruption affecting our upstream SIP Trunk provider. All Conetix phone lines and voicemail services are unavailable. At this stage the fault is with our upstream SIP provider network, there is currently an ETA of 25 minutes on a resolution. Please refresh this page as we'll provide updates below.

  • 10:00 - 17/05/2021 - Issue reported and identified
  • 10:28 - 17/05/2021 - Our SIP provider has advised that mitigation steps are in place. We expect another 5 - 10 minutes of partial issues with phone calls pending a full resolution.
  • **11:00 - 17/05/2021 - Unfortunately upstream issues with our SIP provider remain, we'll update this status again when issues are fully resolved. **

Shared Hosting Services Issues sending to hotmail.com and live.com for some systems

Conetix is observing some bouncing from outlook.com, hotmail.com and live.com addresses for a number of systems. Microsoft are actively blocking emails from our platform at present but have not provided a reason why.

Unfortunately, there seems to be no cause nor trigger we can observe. Microsoft provides us with detailed reports including when any IP is blocked, however their system is showing all green across the board.

We have logged the issue with Microsoft but at this stage have no ETA on when it will be fixed.

Updates

  • Update 1 - 14:00 13 May 2021 - No response from Microsoft yet. We have confirmed that only a small number of systems are affected and it does not affect any mail flow to Office 365 users. Once we've received a confirmation back from Microsoft, we'll post an update.
    • Update #2 08:30 14 May 2021 - While we haven't received anything except an acknowledgement of the support request, it appears that all mail is flowing again to Hotmail, and similar Microsoft free email destinations. Conetix will continue to monitor the flows in order to escalate and/or resubmit the support request if required.
